If you are planning a holiday in Fuerteventura then one of the highlights will probably be sampling some of the island’s best restauarants. The island is full of great places to eat out, but as a starting point here are 5 of our favourites;
Cafè de Viena
A fantastic place to order breakfast, Cafè de Viena features a wide range of culinary options for every taste including German, English, vegetarian, and plenty of local Spanish delicacies. The freshly-squeezed orange juice is a must.
El Andaluz
The chef and owner of El Andaluz is a local and it certainly shows. The exciting menu boasts regional favourites such as salmorejo (a lovely and thick gazpacho), and gambas al ajillo (shrimp in garlic sauce). You’ll even find some very tasty vegetarian options, such as the popular leek pie with vegetables.
La Cabaña Asturiana
Located right on the coast, La Cabaña Asturiana offers some of the best views in all of Fuerteventura. The menu features traditional Asturian fare, perfect for the adventurous eater. Try the rabbit, sausages in cider, onions stuffed with tuna, or the classic Asturian stew.
La Factoria
La Factoria is a lovely Italian restaurant that sits right on the beach at the old harbour. The owner is a native of Bologna, which means the pasta is always made fresh daily and tastes delicious. The pizzas are exceptional, too, with a crispy thin crust and fantastic toppings.
Poco Loco
Poco Loco is the place in Fuerteventura for Argentinean-style steaks and chops. The orange and black interior gives the atmosphere inside a feeling that is somewhat heavy for a seaside destination, but the exceptional T-bones, grilled lamb chops, and even the vegetarian lasagne make this restaurant more than worth visiting.
if you are speaking about the best restaurants in fuerteventura you surely miss one of the most important it’s the restaurante Fabiola in Ampuyenta in the center of the island that is the best
